A life remembered
Mrs. Adassa Nelson (née Chin), aged 77, of Santa Cruz, St. Elizabeth, passed peacefully on the date above, surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in St. Elizabeth, Adassa was a devoted member of Half Way Tree Methodist for over 47 years. She worked as a civil servant and was well known throughout the community for her generosity, quiet strength, and unwavering faith.
She is survived by her children Ivy, Fitzroy, Horace, Trevor, Ulric, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends across Jamaica and the diaspora.

Funeral arrangements
Service & interment
- ✦Funeral service for the late Adassa will be held at Lucea Parish Church, Santa Cruz, St. Elizabeth at 10:00 AM.
- ✦Interment follows at the family plot.
- ✦The family kindly requests that mourners wear white or light colours.
- ✦No flowers by request — donations may be made to the St. Elizabeth Infirmary.
