A life remembered
Miss Hortense Gayle, aged 58, of Clark's Town, Trelawny, passed peacefully on the date above, surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in Trelawny, Hortense was a devoted member of May Pen New Testament for over 49 years. She worked as a district constable and was well known throughout the community for her generosity, quiet strength, and unwavering faith.
She is survived by her children Leroy, Florence, Olive, Clifton, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends across Jamaica and the diaspora.
"Rest eternal grant unto them, O Lord."
Funeral arrangements
Service & interment
- ✦Funeral service for the late Hortense will be held at Spanish Town Cathedral, Clark's Town, Trelawny at 10:00 AM.
- ✦Interment follows at the family plot.
- ✦The family kindly requests that mourners wear white or light colours.
- ✦No flowers by request — donations may be made to the Trelawny Infirmary.
