A life remembered
Miss Iris Barrett, aged 68, of Brown's Town, St. Ann, passed peacefully on the date above, surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in St. Ann, Iris was a devoted member of May Pen New Testament for over 44 years. She worked as a farmer and was well known throughout the community for her generosity, quiet strength, and unwavering faith.
She is survived by her children Audley, Pauline, Ulric, Una, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends across Jamaica and the diaspora.
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want."
Funeral arrangements
Service & interment
- ✦Funeral service for the late Iris will be held at William Knibb Memorial Baptist Church, Brown's Town, St. Ann at 1:00 PM.
- ✦Interment follows at the family plot.
- ✦The family kindly requests that mourners wear white or light colours.
- ✦No flowers by request — donations may be made to the St. Ann Infirmary.
