A life remembered
Mr. Jasper Richards, aged 89, of Downtown Kingston, Kingston, passed peacefully on the date above, surrounded by his loving family.
Born and raised in Kingston, Jasper was a devoted member of Ocho Rios Pentecostal for over 26 years. He worked as a teacher and was well known throughout the community for his generosity, quiet strength, and unwavering faith.
He is survived by his children Beverley, Quincy, Hyacinth, Lascelles, Norma, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends across Jamaica and the diaspora.
"Rest eternal grant unto them, O Lord."
Funeral arrangements
Service & interment
- ✦Funeral service for the late Jasper will be held at William Knibb Memorial Baptist Church, Downtown Kingston, Kingston at 1:00 PM.
- ✦Interment follows at the family plot.
- ✦The family kindly requests that mourners wear white or light colours.
- ✦No flowers by request — donations may be made to the Kingston Infirmary.
