A life remembered
Miss Jean Nelson, aged 82, of Porus, Manchester, passed peacefully on the date above, surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in Manchester, Jean was a devoted member of Kingston Parish Church for over 44 years. She worked as a fisherman and was well known throughout the community for her generosity, quiet strength, and unwavering faith.
She is survived by her children Kingsley, Leroy, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends across Jamaica and the diaspora.

Service & interment
- ✦Funeral service for the late Jean will be held at Christ Church, Port Antonio, Porus, Manchester at 10:30 AM.
- ✦Interment follows at the family plot.
- ✦The family kindly requests that mourners wear white or light colours.
- ✦No flowers by request — donations may be made to the Manchester Infirmary.
