A life remembered
Mr. Mortimer Hamilton, aged 75, of Port Maria, St. Mary, passed peacefully on the date above, surrounded by his loving family.
Born and raised in St. Mary, Mortimer was a devoted member of Half Way Tree Methodist for over 26 years. He worked as a carpenter and was well known throughout the community for his generosity, quiet strength, and unwavering faith.
He is survived by his children Vernon, Carlton, Winston, Audley, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends across Jamaica and the diaspora.

Funeral arrangements
Service & interment
- ✦Funeral service for the late Mortimer will be held at Green Island Baptist Church, Port Maria, St. Mary at 10:00 AM.
- ✦Interment follows at the family plot.
- ✦The family kindly requests that mourners wear white or light colours.
- ✦No flowers by request — donations may be made to the St. Mary Infirmary.
