A life remembered
Miss Olive Thomas, aged 65, of Ironshore, St. James, passed peacefully on the date above, surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in St. James, Olive was a devoted member of Kingston Parish Church for over 36 years. She worked as a shopkeeper and was well known throughout the community for her generosity, quiet strength, and unwavering faith.
She is survived by her children Hyacinth, Kingsley, Delroy, Gwendolyn, Iris, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends across Jamaica and the diaspora.
"Rest eternal grant unto them, O Lord."
Funeral arrangements
Service & interment
- ✦Funeral service for the late Olive will be held at Lucea Parish Church, Ironshore, St. James at 10:00 AM.
- ✦Interment follows at the family plot.
- ✦The family kindly requests that mourners wear white or light colours.
- ✦No flowers by request — donations may be made to the St. James Infirmary.
